LaserGrade's primary concern is the integrity of your testing data. All
test questions and associated data reside on LaserGrade's central computer. All
data is password protected on several levels. Sensitive data is
encrypted with an encryption routine conceived and written by LaserGrade. LaserGrade
modem servers will only accept calls from authorized LaserGrade test
site computers. When downloading a test, the test site sends
an encrypted, preformatted, and compressed packet of data to our central
computer. Also, the applicant test data and questions are encrypted,
compressed and password protected before being sent back to the test
site. Only when the sensitive data is read into the active RAM of the
test station is it decrypted, and then only one question at a time. After
each test, applicable files are overwritten then erased, ensuring
that no sensitive data stays on-site.
